Hi,
We're currently looking at long term solutions to the use of hand arm vibrations, we have the need to use impact wrenches quite alot.
Has anybody had any success on using different tools as opposed to impact wrenches for the installation and torquing of bolts?
I have heard something about pulsed wrenches?
Thanks in advance,
Ben

Ben,
Try looking for Hytorq and ITH bolting on t'interweb.
these pose other problems as are hydraulic at high pressure, keep and eye on the hoses...
these are used on gas turbines etc so should b suitable.
regards
Simon.

Hi Ben
Whilst Simons' suggestion may help - just remember that there is still vibration being imparted to the holder.
You don't identify what area of business you're in; but the only effective way to manage vibration is to minimise individual exposure to it!
