Posted By Anar1 Hello. I just have became the member of the IOSH and among many reasons why I chose to become a member was that I thought I now could have an access to some kind of a technical library where I could download British Standards, European standards, European Norms, Management Systems, Regulations, etc. But I don't think I found it on the website. So, I guess I still will not be able to free download those standards, regulations, etc.? Thanks

Posted By Anar1 Thanks Paul. I have contacted them and asked for the access to those Electronic Subscription Services which are listed there. Let's see.

Posted By Jay Joshi I do not think that IOSH members have direct access to the resources that IOSH's Technical Department has. IOSH's Technical Department may respond to specific questions, but it is unlikely that a copy will be provided as that would breach copyright. I do not think there is any membership organisation that provides unlimited access to a suite of British Standards as the cost of doing that would be exorbitant

Posted By Ron Hunter These services are subscription only Anar1, via Technical Index and the like, and subs. are prohibitive to the SME. There are a few Universities & Colleges who maintain access to some and even to the full set of British Standards and it may be worth making enquiries at your local seats of learning?

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Anar If you are in the UK, you may be able to get access (but still subject to copyright restrictions) through your local library. Paul

Posted By martinw Anar there are some documents readily available on social sites such as Scribd. I found and downloaded a free copy of the ACOP for the Asbestos Regs 2006 recently from there. Not all there, but some is if you look hard enough. Martin

Posted By Anar1 Thank you for your responses. I live in Azerbaijan and I just hoped that membership in IOSH will help me to gain access to those standards.
