Posted By Stephen.Jones Hi, Wonder if anyone can help me with this one? Looking to take over an existing dental practice, and some of the rooms have shaded glass panels. What BS would these come under if any, as they have no kite mark on them? Any help would be appreciated Many thanks

Posted By Chris Pope If in doubt about the suitability of any glazing invite a GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation) qualified supplier to inspect and they will advise - the BS marking may be hidden in the frame rebate. Glass standards required vary according to position. Perhaps if you stated where you are in the UK a forum reader may be able to recommend someone.

Posted By S W BS6206 if Safety Glass - the glass may not be safety though. There should be a visible stamp on each pane which indicates if the glass is a safety. Also it depends if the glass is in a door, window, side panel or low level. The location dictates what type of glass must be used.
