What provision (if any) should me made during the evenings when board members (not paid/employed) use meeting room facilities on site?

I could be wrong, but do you not have a duty towards the safety of members of the public or visitors to your workplace? I would suggest the same level of first aid as per a normal office environment employees during the day.
What are the risks? slips trips falls, cuts, burns (hot drinks), electrical, other?

Well the provision of first is generally for employees, which the board members are not.
I agree that there is a duty of care, however, the risk is considered low, a well stocked first aid kit is provided, along with a telephone and the location is not remote. Based on this i'm wondering whether this is sufficient?
It's why i'm asking what others do really

I think that you may have misunderstood the legal status of Board Members - as long as the employer is an incorporated body of any nature, the Board ARE employees unless they are a non-incorporated Partnership.
I don't suppose that they'll thank you for reminding them though!
