Posted By Ucan Brookie, its all down to risk assessment, the tool you are using and the item/material you are using the tool on.

Posted By Delwynne Agree with the above poster, you need to do your risk assessment first. However as a recommendation on suppliers I have been working with a company called onsitesupplies based in crawley, recently trialling some ppe on our sites. Really helpful company and the feedback I've had from the products has been good too. I don't have a web address unfortunately but there phone number is (01293) 74 44 44

Posted By Peter Moran U... Profas Unipur (Rating 4141) are pretty good for general light tool use/blanket mandatory glove wear but agree with previous contributor that you need to look at specific application.

Posted By Chris Packham What are you protecting against? Is this for vibration, cuts and abrasions, or is it for chemical protection? Or is it for a combination of these? In my experience there is no glove that will provide universal protection and the wearing of the inappropriate glove can actually increase the potential for damage to health. As already stated, it will all come down to the individual risk assessment for each task. You may actually find that you need a different glove for different tasks. Chris
