Hi all,
I am looking for a selection of DVDs that I can purchase to add to my training presentations. Can anybody recommend a good selection, I need them to be fun and straight to the point.
I was thinking about the following topics.
Manual handling
Fire safety
COSHH
That would be enough to get me started initially.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul
If you want quality as opposed to generalised, cheap regurgitation of the "lowest common denominator" material I usually recommend either "OutTakes" or "Vocam" depending upon the actual topic & audience.

Thanks Frank,
The training aids will be used to help deliver the 1 day H&S induction training programme that we have. The sessions are aimed for customer service assistants within our units in the middle east, they are usually a wide range of nationalities in the training, eg, Indians, Filipino's, Egyptians etc so the level of training needs to be very basic.
I will take a look at both of the options that you have suggested.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul
Some suggestions for you.
HSE: 'NAPO - risky business' - a cartoon style covering hazards, actions, responsibilities, etc (£10 from HSE),
HSE 'STEP' - from the free slips and trips elearning pack, HSE also do a Manual Handling disc which was in the free Better Backs Campaign Pack.
Out Takes (outtakes.co.uk 020 8293 9888) do lots; I've used 'Adam's First Day' & 'Eve's First Day'; both are funny animations of new staff being shown around by an old hand (with bad habits).
Also, do a Google for 'Alison' - this is a website which gives access to lots of e-learning which is all free.
Hope this helps, Stephanie
