Posted By safetyamateur I'm sure I saw a link here somewhere that led you to [at least] civil claims judgments. I've used all manner of words in search and can't find the thread. Cheers in advance

Posted By safetyamateur Cheers, Paul. It's in my 'favourites' now. How sad. Rather like having Star Of India takeaway feature in 'Friends & Family' on phone bills. Thanks again

Posted By bump184 Bailli is the one I use most outside of work, I also set-up a site earlier this year to deal with sports law issues - 'the sports law canary' its at: sportslawnews.wordpress.com and the aim is to precis a lot of the sports law cases and cover the main issues. Had some teething problems so site is not as upto date as I would like, but should be fully running again very soon, may be worth a look if you are covering sports areas? Posted By Phil Grace Dear All, Remember, remember - original posting talked about civil decisions. I presume that poster was talking about compensation claims rather than criminal prosecutions. There are a number of things to remember: * there is no central database of civil decisions * the vast majority of civil cases do not end up in court. The claim will be settled before it ever gets to court. So, great care is needed in interpreting anything that is gleaned from court decisions about civil compensation. Such cases will be unusual, different etc. There may be a point of law that needs deciding or the parties may have failed to agree on quantum i.e. how much compensation is needed/deserved. Phil
