Posted By GavinR Hi Guys, Does anypne have a document or guideline that advises on the appropriate grade of eye lens filter for different welding operations? How do you determine that a Grade 10 is required or a Grade 5 is required? Thanks

Posted By Flic It depends on three things: The welding process The material being welded The current Shade 5 is unlikely to be adequate for any arc welding process - it is suitable only for gas welding. Perhaps you could give us more information? Flic
