Posted By Russell Wilkinson A question has been asked "what is the maximum noise level of a circular saw? I do not need to know about noise levels for hearing protection-and was wondering if anyone could quickly tell me the answer!!!

Posted By Robert K Lewis This one really does depend on what you are cutting, species wise, machine maintenance, blade type/sharpness, location and building structure and blade speed. I have measured in excess of 100dB(A) in some situations. It really is as high as a piece of elastic is long. Bob

Posted By Russell Wilkinson exactly its a bit of a trick question, as its an internal quizz-too ambigious for my liking!!!

Posted By Luke. Then why not answer as per the above response? Shows initiative and a degree of realism? I would mark you up for that!
