Does anyone have, or can point me in the right direction of, a short training package to be used to train people in the health and safety aspects of working from home please?
Thanks in anticipation!

Just in case you don't get a favourable response you might like to check out the HSE site: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg226.pdf
It's a bit OTT but I'm sure you can cherry pick what you need and put a short presentation together.

Hello Brookie,
We have a link to a useful company called Live Action Media that does all sorts of video for health & safety. You can try them for materials. Their site is accessed via www.argyll.uk.com

Ron, carrying out work at a home base that was normally carried out in the employer's office.

In which case, the HSE Guide suggested by Raymond should suffice.

The home work will indeed be office-type computer-based work.

We have a course we use for our home workers including a self assessment document which we use as one of the control methods in the risk assessment. I'd be happy to pass this to you if you get in touch direct. I know there's a way to do this on this forum but I don't know how.
