Posted By Darren Brittle Hello i am currently lookin to change the way chemical drums are changed over from bunds when they are empty. Currently they are rolled, pushed, dropped etc onto forklift truck forks which is not the best as it is but at the moment i am consetrating on the manual handling aspect of it. i have been researching trollys, carriers and what not but cant seem to find what i want, i want a trolly that can hold the drum and be lowered onto the horizontal so that the drum can be picked by the forklift without having to drop it onto the forks as this can and has caused spillages. cheers Darren

Posted By Pez Hargreaves You can get barrel clamps that attach on to the front of the FLT.

Posted By PhilP Darren I don't know if you have tried the website www.handlingequipment.co.uk. They can provide several different types of 'drum rotating' equipment, some for fitment directly onto a FLT or others that are trolley based. Look under the section 'Drum handling Equipment' on the left hand side of the page. Phil

Posted By Mark Lane I have seen 'drum roll over cradles' used before. I think the supplier was STS Trolleys but I'm sure there are many other suppliers as well.
