Posted By Jury Hello All, Can anybody explains to me the value of a technician member in Middle east? What i mean is in terms of employment, are technician level prefered in middle east countries compared to not member of IOSH? Just wanted to have idea. Thanks in advance.

Posted By Raymond Rapp It is my understanding that most Middle East countries require a formal degree ie BSc/MSc in a related discipline. That being the case, it also infers a more senior qualification as well, such as chartered status. That said, the level of qualification is normally commensurate with the technical aspects of the role. However, any form of membership status will do a person no harm at all, Tech IOSH or whatever.
