Posted By John Fitzmaurice Does anyone know of any recent statistics for incidents caused when driving whilst using a mobile phone, regardless if it was hands held of hands free?

Posted By Bob Howden You will find statistics for road traffic accidents on the Department for Transport website. The latest statistics were published in September 2008 and are for 2007, so I expect that the tables for 2008 won't be far away. You will need to look at the tables for Contributory Factors to find the ones involving mobile phones.
