Posted By Anar1 Hello, I was asked today by my manager on the requirements of the width of the walkway on offshore platform. Our walkway on the platform is coloured yellow for people to know where to walk safely, so are there any requirements on the width of these walkways in offshor platforms? I have searched through the british standards, but couldnt find the one I need. Currently the width of the walkway on the platform is about 80 cm - 1 m. Thanks

Posted By Anar1 Thanks, but it is not exactly what I need. This is for machinery, inside the buildings, etc. What I am looking for is the width of walkways (accessways, whatever it is called) as means of escape from the platform. So these are walkways and at the same time are escape routes.
