Posted By N Goodwin Does anyone know where I can get hold of a legislation organigramme, starting with HSAWA? I want to create a wall chart of current legislation relating to industrial engineering. I am hoping that it will serve as a prompt for engineers as to what legislation they need to consider when carrying out project work.

Posted By Philip McAleenan Your engineers are probably the best group of people to put this together for you as they will have covered the legislative requirements at university and / or as part of their ongoing competence development. Any that are chartered will certainly have demonstrated to and have satisfied the review panel that they have met the OSH attributes for corporate membership to their professional body. Regards, Philip

Posted By N Goodwin Philip I intended it to be an 'aide memoire' so that they have or will consider all relevant legislation during any design, installation or maintenance of machinery.

Posted By Ron Hunter Why do you consider a list of Legislation to be helpful? Are your engineers really so well versed in the chapter and verse of legislation? Would something translated from these legislative requirements into a consideration of relevant hazards and risk groups not be more meaningful, perhaps a checklist (as is often used in CDM) or a generic risk assessment?
