This would be the ideal configuration for some of our maintenance and emergency call-out people who operate solo and who are being trained to deal with 'sporadic & low-intensity' ACM work in accordance with the Asbestos Task Manual. Posted By Ron Hunter Thanks Gerry. I've seen (a demo of) the "mac vac" mentioned at your reference. Nice machine (and very quiet!)which is an "over the shoulder" model(and I think a wee bit cumbersome and prone to slipping - particularly if your up a set of steps trying to undo a light pendant) as opposed to a (typ.) 20lb securely strapped backpack type unit.
