Posted By Brian Horrocks By gas pipes, are we talking a lab set up with different piped gases? hydrogen, propane, nitrogen, methane/fuel gas etc Not specifically law - but very good practice. Can't remember the number, but there is a Brirish Standard. Just Google. As regards law - I suppose you could argue the general requirements of the Safety Signs and Signals Regs. Also for flammable gases - the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regs. Pretty sure DSEAR HSE guidance books have a few words to say about identifying pipes. Also think COSHH guidance does too.
