Hi All
I have lurker for ages but never had a need to post till now.
Anyone know where I can find the statistics on how many Work Related Claims there are on average per year in the UK?
I can find number of accidents etc but not how many people actually claim.
I am trying to get my line managers to get a bit better at paperwork as I just audited them and half the paperwork was missing. I am putting together a power point presentation to kind of show how all the paperwork no matter how stupid they think it is actually has a point - one of the things I wanted to talk about was the gradual build up of a claims culture and how proper paperwork can help in an investigation but I just can't get the statistics :(
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Liking the new forum lay out
Regards
Kath

Can your insurance company help with some stats? Might be worth a phone call?

I think you will find that, contrary to popular opinion, claims against employers are decreasing not increasing and that has been a steady trend for some years now.
