I am about to apply to IOSH for membership and have been filling out the forms. however, i am slightly confused as to which Group i should join as there doesn't seem to be one for the Manufacturing industry. Or am i missing something?

What are the benefis of being a member of a group? I noticed many users on here are members of various groups.

79 views and noone can elaborate on this? very poor showing IMHO.
Grim, being a member of a group (if you can find one that suits) allows like minded people (well industy wise anyhow) to see who is in a similar field etc.

No you're not missing anything, I went looking for Manuf the other day and was surprised to find it missing. How about setting one up and before you ask no thank you to being on the committee, been there done that and wore the chairmans hat!
Come on IOSH lets have a manuf group please.

there are many area where there is not an IOSH recognised group Social Housing is another,despite many members working in this field.
