Our joinery team transport various timber products (doors/windows/stairs/long timber/sheet timber) between the distribution hub and various branches.

Sheet product is carried on pallet and band strapped into place.

We find on occasions that towards the end of the delivery the sheet timber is liable to slip in transit with obvious offload problems on delivery.

If any of you are working in the business of sheet timber transportation I would be interested in hearing of your methods for load securing in transit

many thanks

Martin

Morning all - I haven't been able to get an interest on this post so I am just bumping it up one time to see if there are any haulage specialists who can advise or who could maybe refer me to 'a man who can'

thanks

Martin
