Dear fellow readers. For some time now, I have assisted clients achive accreditation to various clients approved lists. Recently I have been very upset with a few of the auditors, not reading the applications, not reading the full documentation submitted, one approval scheme not recognising another scheme. This whole system seems to be getting out of control. The standard of the auditors, in some cases, falls well below the required standard, further this just seems like another money making machine. When oh when is there going to be a realistic approach to all of this?

Would the safecontrator scheme and CHAS be involved here? Who competence checks the competence checkers I wonder? I don't think the people that use them do!
