In January we will be greeting a young lad from a local school for a two day work experience. I have been informed that he will visit again for a longer period later in the year. From times past we have had work experience children who have had their time with us but not done an exit questionnaire with them to ascertain whether they found their time with us useful or flag up short comings within the company. Therefore would you be able to suggest ten or so questions to ask the work experience children, written in a language level they would understand, before they return to their school. Failing that if any one has adult exit questionnaires I could view and adapt ... Thanks in advance Badger

1. Think about the work you though was most interesting and describe it in up to 100 words. What does the person involved do? What does she/he need to know and say? 2. In what ways do you think someone might get injured in this job? How could injuries be best prevented? 3. Do you think people may do the job in different ways? If you do, does that affect how injuries could be best prevented? 4 In what ways do you think someone might become ill in this job? How could illness bebest prevented? 5. Do you think people may do the job in different ways? If you do, does that affect how illness could be best prevented? 6. Describe what you observed about how people are managed in this job? Can you think of any better (or worse) ways to manage them? 7. Describe what you observed about how safety is managed in this job? In what way or ways could safety be managed better (or worse)? 8 Describe what you observed about how health is managed in this job? In what way or ways could health be managed better (or worse)?

Barrie, questions like: what did you enjoy most about your WEX and why? did anything surprise you about the way we work? If yes, please tell us what. is there anything we could do to make work experience more interesting/challenging for young people in the future? where would you rate your experience on a scale of 1 to 10? in what way has your time with us helped you the most? I have scribbled these quickly but no doubt you get the gist. Pete
