I have finally managed to log in to the forum since it changed into the new format. I have just checked my profile and it reads that I have been a member since the 27th of October 09, strange I have been a member of IOSH for about 10 years.

Has any body else had a problem logging in? Where has everyone gone? Seems pretty tame to the last time I logged in.

The 27th October was the launch date of the new website.

This is now the earliest date that appears on a member profile for this forum.

Farrell
I had problems too, the main one being that when I asked for a change of password it would not come through. Seemed to be a problem with my internet provider blocking it.
Luckily, Tom Loomes helped and here I am. Ta again Tom.

Lots of people seem to be missing, unless they have changed their names, and yes it has lost some of the 'cut and thrust'

I concur. Mods, on this Friday for one day only can all the AUGs be suspended so that the general public can see how fun loving and silly we H&S bods can be on Fridays? I could do with an friendly argument. What do you think?

Fear not. Some of us may need a little longer to wrestle with the technicalities of this brave new world including finding our original forum personas. I have seen more and more of the old-cordie jacket, elbow patched team slowly emerging from the wonder of being a newbie all over again. It almost made me feel young again but then the nurse came round with the warm tea! Of course the young whippersnappers probably took it all in their stride and have been posting for weeks.
I have seen the green shoots of cut and thrust emerging and have no doubt we will soon be wondering how we managed to be so dynamic, funny and downright all round good eggs with the old system. Whoops sorry posted to the wrong forum. LOL

I agree that the forum has lost something.
