Dear reader. The time has come for me to renew my CSCS card, so I have bought the latest book and CD. Sat down to take my test and am shocked to find they are still refering to the planning supervisor and pre construction H&S plan. Please can somebody tell me I have a duff CD, this surley can not be correct. Looking forward to replies. Sorry if this is old ground.

Which all goes to show the value of many of these schemes. National schemes ought to be run in a professional manner but unfortunately this is not always the case.

As Bob implies, it makes a joke of so-called industry accredited qualifications when they can't be bothered to update basic material.

The same applies when updating the other publications, it takes time, but considering it's CDM you would expect an urgent update, at least by now!!!

If you make questions legislation specific and use legislation specific terms then you have to be prepared to update everything in April and October at the very least. If you are not prepared to do this then keep clear of specifying legislation, or the defined terms, in any question set. Its just good planning Bob

The funny thing is - they seem to be very efficient when it comes to taking your money. Funny that :)

Sutty They have done something right then:-) CDMC is a function performed normally by a team of professionals in various aspects of construction and not specifically an individual professional. Do not get me wrong I have acted in the role of CDMC but always feel uncomfortable with this absolute belief that an individual person has to be THE CDMC Bob
