Are all accidents to young people (i.e 17 Years old) reportable under RIDDOR?
Injury is minor and the individual is back at work. Only a few hours lost in terms of work time.
Could do with an answer asap. Thanks

I don't think they are as the young person is above the Minimum School Leaving Age (MSLA). For workers above the MSLA the normal RIDDOR requirements apply.

Provided that this was not a defined Major injury (hard to see how it could be from your description of "minor"!) and that the person was not a "member of the public taken to hospital" (which also doesn't look to be the case) then no the accident appears from the detail you give to be not reportable.
What made you think that all accidents to young people might be reportable? (They are not by the way)

Agree with the above.
If the injury was not a major and the injured was not off for more than 3 days, it's not reportabel under RIDDOR in any case.
