We have use (not our site) of an Old Portacabin raised up on what look like metal axle stands. It has withstood use for at least 20 years but when,I inquire about certification / testing / SWL,I do not seem to get anywhere. Anyone know of any guidance on such structures ? Needless to say the floor groans a bit, but that has been the case for at least 10 years. Regards,Paul

I think that maybe you need to ask a few questions first -
Do you still need the use of the portacabin?
Are you asking about the actual floor loading capacity or the thought that it may not actually be safe to use?
Is it a portacabin (remember, it is a trademark name) or a different version? The manufacturer should have floor loading information.
It may be cheaper to ditch the 'portacabin' and get a new one.
At the end of the day the portacabin type affair was only a temporary fix for lack of space, although many of them are still in use over and beyond both time and original intention.
