...of snow and ice.
In an office complex with a dozen or so tenants and a remote landlord, who would be responsible for clearing the common areas (car park and paths) of snow and ice?
I can think of a couple of possible options but wondered what your thoughts are on the subject.
Cheers.

May I suggest that each tenant has a duty of care for their own staff as well as other who could be affected etc etc.
Collectively, they need to identify if car park clearing and gritting is already being charged for as part of the lease fee and if not try and negotiate the shared costs?

For the purpose of civil liability and a duty of care the onus falls upon 'occupier or those who control the premises' as per Ocuppier's Liability Act 1957 (as amended 1984).
