Forthcoming 'Control of Artifical Optical Radiation at Work Regulations

With the forthcoming regulation I am trying to get ahead of the game to see if there is anybody that has started to consider what needs to be put in place. Looking at the limited documentation that is available it would seem that it is risk assessment based, with office lighting not being an issue. The concern I have are the calculations that need to be carried out for determining exposure as highlighted in the Health Protection Agency. Has anybody else started to do any work for this new reg?

I would be interested to now a little more about this too! I was asked today about maintenance on laser engraving and cutting machines. I had to take a rain check on that to do my research, so if anyone can help I would also be grateful...
Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, hijack the thread etc...
