This morning I received the usual weekly bulletins from Croner and SHP both reported on the HSE report on violence. The problem is they have totally different figures for workplace violence. SHP gave a link to the actual report where I'm sorry if it was there but I could not find the workplace statistics. They also provided a link to the HSE Violence at work:Findings from the 2008/09 British Crime Survey. The Croner statistics actually agree with the HSE figures. I train employees in loneworking and it would be nice to give accurate information, could someone from SHP eplain where the information was gleaned from, so I can make my own judgment on the information I use.
