We're currently reviewing our BMS aiming at simplifying corporate policy and processes from business unit procedure. We have been in active debate regards how many/ what policies we really need, and how detailed and prescriptive the need to be. I would welcome comments from those who have exposure to both HSE and quality systems

Joe Hi, You can have separate policy & O&A documents for each standard, or you can have a combined Policy, O&A document, as does the water company I work for (covering all three standards), It really is dependant upon how you conduct and manage your business as to which option you take, there is no right or wrong answer.
