Hi All

I wonder if I can ask some of my peers for CV advice?
I have been looking for a new job for over a year now and I am not getting very far.
I just got turned down for an interview with a well known provider of electrical power (the role was involved in mainly office safety).

Currently working in waste management but open to new opportunities. My employer had nothing in place when I was promoted into the role and I have worked hard over the last 3 years to ensure compliance to standards/good practice etc. I have had to look at everything from asbestos surveys, electrical safety welfare, audits, risk assessments, first aid, accident investigation and reporting, exposure to dust, COSHH, office safety, fire warden responsibilities, carriage of dangerous goods and lots lots more (feel free to ask if you would like more info).

I just don't believe that my CV reflects the amount of knowledge and experience that I have gained and has WASTE MANAGEMENT written all over it. As I hope I have explained my current role is so much more than this.

Would someone mind having a look at it and seeing where it can be improved?
Please feel free to PM me if you would like me to send you a copy of my CV.
Any help would be welcomed

Regards

DHM

I would just like to thank everyone who responded to my posting with their feedback. Not all of it was positive but hey I can take it on the chin!

If I was unable to accept negative feedback, perhaps like others I would wonder why I am doing this job!

Thanks again
