in simple tearms; take your current COSHH assessment template and procedure and instead of putting in a chemical hazard e.g. the contents of a paint that you are using put in the biological hazards that you are evaluating and go from there. This start point should be easy and instead of using SDS's as a guide use medical information about the particular hazards as your starter guide

Can I inject a word of caution? Macca has not given us any context at all, and it is possible that this is biological work with a specific containment level requirement, notification to the HSE etc.

Macca, please can you give us more information about the work you have in mind?
