Dear all
We are going to erect some suspended scaffold at 40 mtr height what should be the barricade size and distance at ground. is there any specific ratio or any suggestion will be appritiated

I'd suggest whatever your scaffold designer specifies.
The distance of the cordon should be commensurate to the size of the scaffold - I'm not aware of any specific figures, but your scaffold designer should be able to help. Failing that, the cordon will depend on the site layout. You'll want it as far out as possible I'd imagine.

BS6187 gives exclusion distances around demolition to ensure that falling debris cannot reach personnel. We generally work on half the height of the building and then the actual barrier need only be sufficient to keep people out, say double clipped Heras fence.
