Hi all,

I am currently based in the Middle East and am trying to put together an employee safety handbook for our site operatives.

I need this handbook to be mainly based around pictures and cartoons to teach safety lessons as the reading and writing skills and cultures of the workforce varies.

Can anybody point me in a direction to some good construction related cartoons? I have found many safety posters but this is not quite what I am looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

Alex

Hi

I have a H&S friend who draws cartoons for a bit of fun.

Asterix they are not but he may do some for you.

PM me your name and email address and I'll forward it to him to get in touch with you.

A good site for free images related to H&S is http://elcosh.org/images/ It is my first port of call whenever I need to drop an image into a presentation. I've no connection with the site but find it useful.

HSE publication INDG 344 has a lot of excellent colour cartoons, & I believe these can be freely reproduced other than for commercial purposes.
Style of images is same as "Myth of the Month" - same artist presumably.
I recall a similar pocket-size guide from HSE some years back with the same pix.
