When I worked in Quarry Management we had a really good lock off and isolation presentation we used to train operatives. However I didn't take it with me when I moved on.
Does anyone have any good powerpoint materials or know any links to any sites where I can obtain some.
It would help me avoid to having to start from scratch again
Thanks

Safety - may I suggest that each company have their own rules regarding isolations. And isolation is a major safety concern
If it is identical to the company you left I would be surprised.
I am worried that with using some other companies presentaion you may miss something specific to your new company and someone may get injured.
A few years back at a previous company we developed a very effective lock off procedure that would work in a lot of companies - but sorry I aint sharing this one due to the inherent risks of making one system fit another

There is a SIP and SSoW procedures document on the HSE website in 'electricity' on front page drop down menus, see if this is any good.

As David H points out it's never a one size fits all.
What may fit one organsiation may not work in another, so each organisational system requires design, validation verification and test eg verification with walkthroughs of various scenarios.
You'll need to consider even for a simple lockout sytem
Is there a permit to work system
Is there person in charge of permit and isolation control.
Frequency of requirement to lockout
Shift patterns
Shift end handover procedures.
Equipment status reporting procedures
System status reporting procedures.
Procedures in case of personnel absence.
Group lockouts
Down to the practicalities of type of lockout, keyed alike, keyed similar locks.
If i's with a large complex system with many interactions between units eg an offshore installation or process plant of any sort then the design of a safe isolation system is a major project.
