Good morning everyone Could somebody please confirm the correct distance Lpg gas bottles are meant to be stored away from a building? taking into account arson, contact with plant moving vehicles etc i am also looking for a trolley, to transport the bottles in order to reduce the need for manual handling, any ideas please? cheers Dave

The whole issue is subject to risk assessment under DSEAR as the siting of the storage area needs to consider numerous other issues which could affect the safe storage. It's a priced publication but the BCGA have a good guidance note (GN2) on the subject which will be worth a look. As for the trolley, there are many types on the market depending on the size of the cylinder and situation you are intending to use it in; Denios would be a good place to start. http://www.bcga.co.uk/pr...w/products.php?g1=a12528

Be aware that BCGA are for compressed gasses! LPG is a liquefied gas, codes of practice are publushed by UKLPG; http://www.uklpg.org/sto...mp;cat=Codes+of+Practice Information leaflets available here; http://www.uklpg.org/information-sheets.php and your suppliers should be able to give you more information.
