Hi I am currently implementing a health and safety management system that covers our global portfolio and I am struggling like hell to find health and safety legislation (mainly for office based environments) for countries outside of Europe! Does anyone have any knowledge they would like to share? I am specifically looking for; Apac - China, Hongkong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea Latin America - Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico If anyone knows where I could obtain this information from rather than searching the Internet (although this isnt going very well) it would be appreciated, Thank you for your help Kind regards

Garratt39306 this document was published last year and is available to download on SHPonline in the 'need to know' section if you go through about 8 'next page' selections. Here is the link to save time: http://www.britsafe.org/...%20report%20211108v6.pdf Not sure how useful re office safety this will be but the links on pages 28-29 will give details of country-local sources of information/legislation. Some of the countries you listed are included specificalle eg China and Brazil. cheers Martin

Garratt, I have a list of the indian regulations, which can then be googled to find specifically what each regulation contains. PM me with your email adress if you are interested

There is a list of country legislation on the iLO-Safework website at:- http://www.ilo.org/legac...rk/cis/legosh/index.htm. Some have links to detailed legislation. For India specific health and safety legislation , refer to http://dgfasli.nic.in/statutes5.htm It has on the left hand side links to other safety legislation. http://dgfasli.nic.in/welcome.html
