Can anyone recommend how I can find out about country specific health and safety legislation?

If you visit www.buildsafeuae.com and register (free) you can access various legislations from the gulf region. They also send out weekly safety alets, best practice alerts and sustainability alerts from various companies who signed up to the build safe initiative. Hopefully of some help to you.

There's quite a bit of information via links elsewhere on the IOSH website. Go to 'Networks', then 'International' then click on 'more' for the region in which you are interested.
Up will come several websites, with a summary of their coverage and a link you can use for more details. The IOSH International Group devoted much effort to compiling and evaluating all these links, so I hope they are of use to you.
