Hi Guys

Could you be so kind as to confirm and provide any supporting documention to me that states that there are no rules under H&S that say we must not use a mobile phone whilst it is on charge.
I have been sent an email with pretty horrific pictures advising that you fingers can be blown off etc... if you use your mobile whilst on charge. The pictures were fund to be false but i could do with some written evidence to show it is nonsense.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks xx

If this were a real hazard how is it that hands-free systems charge continuously whilst the phone is in the holder?

It's not one that I have come across to be honest. I don't see that there are any 'rules' (regs/guidance etc?) that would specifically prevent this, but I suppose there could be something in the individual manafacturers instructions, although again I haven't come across such.

Sounds like a bit of a myth to me!
