Hi All
I would appreciate a bit of help please, I am currently risk assessing a project that entails some construction/concreting external work in busy plant hire depot, i think i may have most of the obvious covered but i have a niggling feeling that the something is being overlooked, any pointers ?

Thanks in advance

It would help to know what you have considered already. Are you having pre-mix delivered or are you mixing on site?

I realize that the post isnt very clear, i have already got all the usual suspects
Materials related hazards
delivery vehicles/plant movements
plant and equipment belonging to client
working in other peoples property
services
excavations, all less than 500mm
its all ground level so that excludes a lot of hazards(WAH etc)
washouts for mixer lorries
segeration
noise
vibration
Coshh
Just think im missing something obvious

Hi,

You mention a busy plant hire depot so I assume the depot will be operational during the works. I would consider if the works being carried out will effect fire escape routes. There is nothing worse than opening a fire exit door and seeing a excavation ( less that 500mm still not the best of routes ) or some wet concrete to paddle through.
