My offices have 3 female cubicles for 48 women which just falls within the regs. However what I can't find out is - do each of these cubicles have to have a sanitary bin (currently two do, one doesn't)
Anyone know

So what happens when a female is in the cubicle without and needs the bin? Why don't you just provide one?

Precisely what I am trying to get my company to do! What I need though is some kind of regulatory guidence to...persuade them

Roysta, I have always taken the notes at point 197 of the ACOP as requiring the facility in any WC used, or perhaps I should say provided for use, by females. There are two compelling reasons for this. The first was given by Chris i.e. common sense says it is right approach; the second taken in the context of that part of the ACOP is that the only guidance is "any WC used by" not "a minimum number of".
