Hi all Does anybody know if there is an equivalent to the Health and Safety at Work Act in Jamaica? I have trawled the internet and found reference to a draft bill (Occupational Safety and Health Act of Jamaica) but couldn't find the draft legislation itself. Is this Act to replace any existing laws? Thanks Martin

Hi Martin I noticed that the H&S lase are part of their Factories Act, taken from UK Law as an International Affiliate. Link: http://www.mlss.gov.jm/pub/index.php?artid=15 One other site I found might be of use or lead you to where you want to be is the Jamaican Ministry of Health http://www.jis.gov.jm/MinHealth/index.asp
