I would have a search down the IOSH branches and find your nearest one. Turn up at a meeting and let them know your needs. Don't have to be a member to attend. Good luck

Leebo There is an advisory service on IOSH - link is.... http://www.iosh.co.uk/me...fications/mentoring.aspx Abstract from link.... I want a mentor – what do I need to do? Mentoring is a two-way partnership, so as a mentee you need to be: eager to learn open to new ideas happy to take on board feedback about your skills and behaviour willing to put the advice of your mentor into practice. If you'd like the support of a mentor, email Fiona Gelling or phone +44 (0)116 257 3168. Good luck :)

Hiya Lee Do you go to your local Branch meeting? If no one there can help you they may be able to point you in the right direction. Branch Secretary for Tyne and Wear... are they your local branch? t +44 (0)7775 564165 Or is it Tees? Branch Secretary t +44 (0)1642 342213 or perhaps you could contact a reputable firm and ask if their H&S person could provide mentoring. Good luck :) Emsie

Unfortunately the demand for mentors is so great that i can't guarantee finding one for all of the requests we get so I do try to offer alternatives and I felt for Leebo, his local branch would be able to assist him as I couldn't guarantee a Mentor would be able to provide him with a placement which is what he is after. Emsie, I am sorry that you did not get a reply from me, I do try to respond to everyone but obviously you got missed. Fiona Gelling
