Hi,
I'm looking for guidance on the cleaning of equipment used for supply of drinking water, (hydrant, hoses and pump).
What chemicals are acceptable, frequency of cleaning etc. In fact anything you may have to offer.
Thanks

Hi,
The following may provide the info you need:

Also I guess the brewing industry might be able to assist as they need to clean their lines quite frequently - just a thought.
Cheers
Steve

The water industry use chemtabs diluted, normally one tablet for every litre of water to clorinate their joints and pipes for water supply.
A company called Industrial Distribution Services should be able to help you with this.

I would also hope that the person carrying out this maintance has a EUSR water hygene qulification.
