Hi All I am a CMIOSH professional and a qualified health, safety and quality auditor. Currently, I am a Health and Safety Advisor in the public sector with multi site experience but due to reviews and restructuring with a strong possibility of redundancy, I am seeking a new challenge to become a full time auditor. I was wondering of anyone reading this has made this move into full time auditing and if you have any words of encouragement or advice to help. My cv is up to date and I've registered for email updates on vacancies etc. Thanks

Hi IPiggin, RoSPA, BSC and some of the larger consultancies are regularly on the lookout for auditors to replace those who move in to consultancy or are poached by competitors. Why not try a direct informal approach to test the waters?

Contact BSI (or similar) direct. They do not deal with agencies :) http://www.bsigroup.com/...ers/Vacancies/Vacancies/ There always on the lookout for competent individulals. Good luck GC
