Hi Garfield. The F2347 was a mandatory requirement of the Abrasive Wheels Regs 1970. These have been supereded by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and as such there is no longer a mandatory requirement to display this. I doubt HSE books supply it anymore! That said, under PUWER you should provide sufficient information & instruction so it would be good practice to display a similar notice. This is especially impotant if the max speeds etc. are not clearly visible on the grinding wheel. The HSE guidance for abrasive wheels (HSG17 - well worth getting hold of) also states you should supply notices if such information is not legible and available.
