Dear All,

I head up a small team of Health and Safety and Occupational Health practitioners at a major university.

We have been provided with a budget for a team away day that should have an outcome, i.e. develop a team strategy or plan for the next year 2011; but should also have part of the day devoted to a new experience or event that is interesting from a professional and personal point of view.

We have met as a team today and have decided that it would be great if we could find another employer who would be happy to accomodate us for a day, provide a meeting room, facility for lunch and perhaps a "behind the scenes" tour after lunch to explore not only the nature of the business but how safety is managed at the business. Obviously, the more interesting the business, the more fascinating it might be "behind the scenes" for a group of outsiders.

Is there any interesting employers out there that might be prepared to host such a day for us? Obviously, we are prepared to pay for the room hire and lunch etc and could perhaps reciprocate for the time taken for the tour guide.

We are based in Milton Keynes, so a venue in the south Midlands or north London area would be our preffered locations, but would appreciate any offers from more distant but thoroughly interesting locations!

If anyone feels they could do something for us, we would be very pleased to hear from you via this forum.
