Hi guys i'm after some help. I have just started working for a new company in the waste industry (biological hazard) and one of the things i have asked to look into is occupational health checks. I've looked on the HSE's website without much luck, so I thought I would ask the question here. Here goes. Is there a legal requirements for the length of time between occupational health checks? Thanks

Hi Darth, Check out COSHH Regulation 11, Para 5 (5) If an employee is exposed to a substance specified in Schedule 6 and is engaged in a process specified therein, the health surveillance required under paragraph (1) shall include medical surveillance under the supervision of a relevant doctor at intervals of not more than 12 months or at such shorter intervals as the relevant doctor may require.
