Hi all,
I know it's a sunny day and we all want to go home and sunbathe ( with copious amounts of sun bloc)
But does anyone have any decent powerpoint/and or handouts for asbestos awareness training?
many thanks in advance,
Steve

If you need this training you should be using a competent trainer - they will have their own materials

Steve
Info for you to do an Asbestos Awareness Training Session is available on the HSE Web Site including slides and videos. You do not need to be a specialist in the subject to deliver Awareness Training

You do however need to be competent in the subject :-)

Thanks for all the advice and input, i do know my limitations but consider myself "competent" to deliver the awareness training. I have over 35 years experience in construction/demolition, hold Nebosh construction, NVQ 4 OHS and CIEH Professional trainer cert. I delivered the training yesterday and hopefully the message got across.
Kind regards,
Steve

Good call. I delivered PASMA training to a group recently who had received IPAF training and Asbestos awareness training off the same chap and the delegates quickly deduced they knew more than the trainer on this subject.

Bob, Are you suggesting he couldn't be "competent" in two areas?
