Hi all, We currently have a lifting platform-cage that is lifted with use of a tele-handler. Would I be correct in saying that any platform that lifts people MUST be inspected by a competent trained person e.g. insurance company every 6 months? Second question:- We are looking to fabricate an extra walkway (2ft x 3.5ft) to attach to our current lifting cage when required. What is the procedure for getting a newly fabricated platform checked and authorised to a “safe for lifting people standard” - i.e fabricate it and let the insurance company authorise it? Would anybody know of a company that specialises in fabrication and testing of these forklift cages? Thanks Jon
